Rachael Robinson has focused her legal career primarily on appeals, practicing in both the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the California Court of Appeal, and white collar criminal defense. Ms. Robinson recently returned to California after representing Bill Cosby in his criminal retrial in Philadelphia; serving as motions attorney and appeals advisor during the months-long retrial involving charges of sexual assault.
Ms. Robinson received her law degree from U.C. Berkeley School of Law. During law school, Ms. Robinson served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Beverly Reid O’Connell in the Central District of California. She also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Andrew Y.S. Cheng in the San Francisco Superior Court.
Ms. Robinson is a member of the Women’s Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Bar Association and the American Bar Association, Criminal Justice Section. She is admitted to practice law in the State of California, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
